EncryptorTS is a specialized terminal server that allows any Ethernet IP device (RJ45 10/100 BaseT) to communicate securely to remote RS232/485 serial devices (up to eight). Ethernet IP data is encrypted and transported to remote serial nodes; each node is protected by an EncryptorPak that decrypts the data stream. Features AES encryption at 10 Mbps, and an intuitive web interface for easy setup.

The Serial Server allows serial devices to connect directly to TCP/IP Ethernet networks and provides VPN end-to-end connectivity for secure serial data transport. This complete solution is all that's needed for serial traffic protection over Internet or LAN. Simply 'AT dial' the IP address of the remote serial server and the VPN link establishes in seconds. Serial to Ethernet data conversion is performed automatically and every secure serial link spawns a TCP session to guarantee error-free delivery of data ---- no extra converters are required.  

Supports broadband connections, IPSec, and AES/Triple DES encryption. Through the browser interface, ports on the serial server are assigned an IP address and port number.

 

Serial interface applications: Data acquisition, SCADA; PBX SMDR; network devices (e.g., channel banks, T1 multiplexers, ATMs, routers, servers).

The IPSec VPN-compliant platform provides secure remote access connections through both broadband and PSTN dial-up (PPP with PAP/CHAP). The IPSec-over-PPP connectivity is an alternative secure connection to network resources when Internet access is unavailable. Supports both PPP client and server modes. PortMarshal Manager is the centralized management tool for the PortMarshal. The intuitive user interface allows for quick port configuration and easy-to-assign access rights for an unlimited number of users. Snapshots of site access events continually display the status of current users and system activity. Standard or user-defined reports, graphs and audit trails provide statistics on remote access, port activity, administrator logons, cost accounting, system errors and more. Reports can be scheduled, printed or viewed on desktop. 

 

 

PortMarshal Manager

PortMarshal is a 16-port 19" rack unit that partners with remotely installed EncryptorPaks (Model 171P) to safeguard asynchronous data streams over dial-up, leased line, or radio links. The unit attaches up to 16 serial RS-232 devices and can cascade up to 256 devices. PortMarshal provides instant dial-in/dial-out authentication of remote callers and ensures data privacy by AES encryption. A convenient callback option complements dial-in authentication to allow calls  to be returned to a pre-defined or user-defined phone number. Auto-key distribution is a special feature that can override manual entry of encryption keys. This time-saving enhancement creates keys 'on-the-fly' at the moment of authenticated access --- keys so private that no one sees or knows what they are. Both the manual and auto-key management schemes comply with ANSI X9.17and X9.9, standards endorsed by banks and governments for providing hacker-tight protection.
